Great hotel and close to the beach

My little family and I enjoyed our stay so much at the Galvestonian! The view, pool and boardwalk to the beach was fantastic. What made this even better was how helpful Oscar and Frank were when I realized after returning home that we left our beach towels, bathing suits and shirt covers in the washing machine. They were very helpful with setting it up to be mailed back to us. We look forward to booking with them in the future!

I've stayed here several times. The kids love the pool more than the beach (I think I do as well).

Beautiful and peaceful ocean views and sounds. We stayed in 810 the Buccaneer. Great room. The teen and 9 year old loved. I chose this unit because of the divided bedroom and the bright kitchen. Kitchen is well stocked to prepare meals. There a couple fold up sport chairs and some kids buckets, etc for the beach. Extra charger ports are on the dressers standard usb and C. and there’s a usb port still in the box in the blue tv cabinet. Good blow dryer, iron and ironing board. Be sure to blow out the stream before ironing. There was a little sediment. Management and staff are very nice and responsive. Carts and trolleys are provided to haul everything up. There is no onsite laundry for renters only for owners. The one con is This unit does have an unpleasant stale plumbing smell in the bathroom. We had to keep the door shut and the exhaust fan on full time. We didn’t notice it until we turned on the shower. It was coming from the drain pipe. Maintenance did come up right away and treated it but it didn’t help. Overall this was an excellent stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Room 307 at The Galvestonian! The condo was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The ocean view from the balcony was incredible, and we loved relaxing while listening to the waves. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. The property itself was quiet, well cared for, and the pool and beach access made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We would absolutely stay in Room 307 again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront getaway in Galveston!
